Product: xml Reporter: Michael Nazarov <michaelnazarov>
Component: CodeAssignee: Svata Dedic <sdedic>
Status: RESOLVED WONTFIX
Severity: blocker

Description Michael Nazarov 2008-10-27 12:20:45 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.5 RC2 (Build 200810270001)
Java: 1.6.0_10-beta; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b12
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1251; ru_RU (nb)

Due to abnormal answer from remote host NB hangs for a while during
XML document creation and there is no easy way to stop this waiting.
Looks like NB resumes only after HTTP timeout expired.

Steps to reprodiuce:

# XML instance generation from a web source

   1. Choose File->New File->XML->XML Document, next
   2. Select XML Schema-Constrained Document, next
   3. Enter a URL for a schema file on the web, ie. http://www.openlaszlo.org/lps/tools/lzx.xsd
   4. Once schema is laoded, set as primary and choose root element, next , finish
   5. run check xml on the XML file

    * EXPECTED RESULT: XML file is generated

Report from old NetBeans version. Due to code changes since it was reported likely not reproducible now. Feel free to reopen if happens in 8.0.2 or 8.1.
