Description _ gtzabari 2008-10-26 05:44:18 UTC
dev build 200810221401

I am filing this as a bug report because I believe it is a regression. If you disagree please change it to an
enhancement request.

I seem to recall that Netbeans 6.1 or earlier dev builds of 6.5 let me configure conf.dir for Web Projects. It seems
that the latest dev builds do not and as a result I end up with project_dir/src/conf and no way to configure it. For
example, I have all my source code and configuration located outside the project directory (so it can be shared by
multiple projects or different project versions). I expect to be able to configure this to "../conf" instead of "src/conf"

reassign to web for evaluation
Comment 2 David Konecny 2008-10-27 21:29:30 UTC
New 'Web Project with Existing Sources' let you set conf folder - that's probably where you saw it.

As you may know workaround for now is to edit conf.dir property in your project's project.properties.

This is related to issue #155915
Comment 4 Martin Balin 2016-07-07 08:53:22 UTC
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
