Description gregd 2008-10-24 16:08:01 UTC
Open the IDE with .java files opened from prior use errors show up in the error stripe and in the editor indicating
that classes don't exist, etc. Building the opened file is successful, but the errors remain visible in the editor.
To avoid this make sure the file that will be in the editor when starting the IDE is not a .java file, and don't edit
a .java file until code completion scanning/compilation is finished.

Thank you for your report. Could you please add more details to this issue? Like: does this happen only with one java
file (than attach it to this issue please)or is it a general problem and occurs with every one.
Please enclose build number and jdk version as well
Comment 2 gregd 2008-10-27 16:03:49 UTC
This happens with every .java file in 3 projects that each include about 5,000 .java files. Please see the attached
picture of the IDE about window and the error indications in the background on a .java file that builds with javac
without any errors.

Reassigning to "editor" for evaluation.
Comment 5 Vitezslav Stejskal 2009-02-16 15:09:22 UTC
This may have been fixed in 6.5, but I'm not sure.
Comment 6 Rastislav Komara 2009-03-24 15:32:06 UTC
it looks like problem with error badges. Unfortunately no more information has been provided. Covering under umbrella
issue to count on as possible problem.
Comment 7 David Strupl 2009-03-31 16:01:29 UTC
Resolving all issues with milestone "future" as LATER. If you feel strongly that
it should be implemented please reopen and set the target milestone to "next".
