Bug 151223

Summary: Deactivating: checked 2 or more modules, but only one is deactivated
Product: platform Reporter: giorgio42 <giorgio42>
Component: Plugin ManagerAssignee: Jiri Rechtacek <jrechtacek>
Status: RESOLVED DUPLICATE
Severity: blocker

Version: 6.x
Hardware: All
OS: Windows XP
Issue Type: ENHANCEMENT Exception Reporter:

Description giorgio42 2008-10-23 21:49:47 UTC
NB6.5RC1 (Java download) on Windows XPSP2 and 1.6.0u10 (release).

If I check 2 or more modules in the Installed Plugins list and then click "Deactivate", the confirmation dialog
shows only the first module, and only this module is deactivated.

Deactivating support for n modules (for instance, BEA, WebSphere, Struts and other modules I am not using)
requires n IDE restarts, which is quite annoying, although only a "one-time fee".

Georg, it's a known request, currently tracked as issue 103701.
Note there a popup menu over plugins in Installed which allows you to deactivate plugins not only one by one but also by
whole category like Web&J2EE. Moreover, you don't need to restart IDE after each deactivation, you can choose Restart
IDE and then restart IDE for all plugins in the end. Anyway, thanks for feedback.
