1. Execute bunch of statements against different DBs.
2. Select some connection and type something in matchbox.
3. Change number of saved records and click "Apply".

Result: Connection is changed to "All Connections", but matchbox isn't reset.

I don't think users would want to see the Match box cleared.

Do you have a good reason for clearing the Match box ?

The same as for "Connection" drop down list. It is reset. So, for being permanent IDE should reset everything or nothing
I guess. It's not the big problem, but for me it looks as bad UI, one component is reset, but another isn't.

Postpone fixing this issue on the next release.
