Thank you for your report. I'm sorry but I'm not able to reproduce your issue.

I opened "Modify Criteria" dialog pressing corresponding button and previously selected node inside Search Result tree
was still selected. Then I closed invoked dialog and correct selected node was still selected.

Please can you try to reproduce your issue using a newer version of ide? I set this issue as WORKSFORME, but feel free
to reopen this bug while you will be facing the same problem using latest version of IDE.

( I also set the priority of this issue to P4 according our bug priority guidelines, because from my point of view
described incorrect behavior doesn't affect functionality of whole feature, it sounds like only minor usability problem.

Comment 3 ulfzibis 2008-10-11 11:27:49 UTC
Reproduced in Build 200810090201 (see attachment):
Project: https://java-nio-charset-enhanced.dev.java.net/source/browse/java-nio-charset-enhanced/

- select folder node in project browser (here: src/sun/nio/cs/)
- right-click "Find..."
- search for 'US_ASCII'
- click on one of the results, so regarding file is opened (here: US_ASCII.java)
- choose "Modify Criteria"
--> see, that selection of recent node is lost, and is replaced by last opened file (here: US_ASCII.java).
