Afaik JDA is not there since it depends on the org.jdesktop.layout which was not prepared as the separate package. Isn`t JDA available through Plugins Manager? What is the module name for Document Editor sample project? JDA is a part of javase - basic distribution and therefore is not available from Plugin Manager. #What is the module name for Document Editor sample project? I found Document Editor sample in org.netbeans.modules.java.examples.resources I hope, this is what you want to know. I guess that JDA was dropped from the "Java SE" (java.kit) and since JDA is AutoUpdate-Show-In-Client=false then it is not visible in the Plugin Manager. Not to sure what to do with it and with Document Editor sample as well. Marek, any idea? Jana, does any errors happen with generating other Java examples - Anagram Game, ClientEditor, GUI Form Examples, Mars Rover Viewer? nowadays state: Today I have been testing once again same version of UBUNTU/IDE as before. The state is the same: JDA is not in New Project Wizard and two sample project finish with errors (Mars Rover Viewer and Document Editor ) But after a while I noticed that 7 updates are available on update centre => and after installing all of them installation seems to be OK. I mean, JDA is offered in New Project wizard and all sample projects can be created correctly as well. But is that correct ? I mean that current state is different from standard "javase" distribution where appframework lib is as default and user doesn't need to download it from update center. however, In case this way of installing updates is needful, all appropriate samples which use appframework lib, should be disabled until the update is installed. This bug will be fixed for NetBeans 6.5 packages Bug was fixed. New packages are waiting for sponsors. |
