marking as p2 which is for these kind of issues. background is that user should not need to manually resize a standalone dialog or window to see all its contents, though in this case am guessing that will not help. its not about length of the string, but that probably length of this ui area was hardcoded vs using layout mgr api to deal with dynamic resizing. also larger fontsize may be used with --fontsize option thus the problem might show even more; please run ide with --fontsize 16 and using localized jars before resolving the fix. ken.frank@sun.com This also occurs in ja environment. Adding Mahipal to cc list Size of all components in this panel are changed to Relative instead of absolute to avoid layout problem. So that all components will resize automatically. |
