After adding hh to settings you need to restart IDE (to allow all *.hh files to be redetected) Without restarting only new or "not-yet-shown" *.hh files will be recognized as headers (btw, this is behavior in trunk, what is your version of IDE?) Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.1 (Build 200804211638) After restart extensions added before just disappears from list (strange). When I delete one of default, ie. "h", editor stops recognizing files immediately. Then, when I restore it, editor starts to recognize it again immediately. Issue 134192 (Changes in list of C/C++ filename extensions disappear after restart) fixed in trunk. Fix will appear in patch2 (see http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeans61Patch2Plan). all extension issues are fixed in trunk please, disregard previous comment because next issue is not yet resolved: 135691 Extensions added in options aren't applied to existing files till NetBeans restart marked this as duplicate of 135891 because this is only that left about this issue *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 135891 *** |
