Currently the winsys (core/windows) depends on core. It would be nice if this dependency is removed. It would require to
change the window system initialization (startup).

I ask for this since we currently do not use anything from core and the winsys initialization is the only thing that
would  force us to use it.

I am ready to help with this request but I might not know all the little details of the winsys initialization ...
