Going forward with JBI, it will become necessary to use custom encoders defined in XSDs to define how BCs/SEs will be
able to handle non-XML message formats e.g. fixed field format.  Defining these using the XSD editor in NetBeans is
possible but it is difficult to use since the format definition is not assisted e.g. how do I define a well-known
separator character?  What is the element name for this?

My suggestion is to add another view of the schema editor for CAPS / OpenESB for building such (formerly-known-as) OTD
structures.
