Right now I see MANIFEST.MF, faces-config.xml, web.xml, sun-web.xml, etc.  I have my own xml config file in WEB-INF and
I would like to be able to see it in the Configuration Files node so that I can quickly access it.  For now I've been
switching to files tab and manually locating it.

The Configuration Files node of Project view is under web project's control.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
