Checkout of module "viaualweb" is failing with error:
U visualweb/webui/themes/src/META-INF/services/org.netbeans.modules.visualweb.project.jsf.services.ThemeNodeService
Terminated with fatal signal 11
Core dumped; preserving /tmp/cvs-serv2051 on server.
CVS locks may need cleaning up.

Due to this problem, it is not possible to produce NetBeans production build and therefore it has significant affect on
NetBeans development.

CVS command I'm running:
cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.netbeans.org:/cvs -z6 -q checkout -P -D "2007.08.23.12.00.00" visualweb

I found out that checkout is successful if option -D "2007.08.23.12.00.00" is omitted - but for the build it is important.

I was able to replicate the error upon running a checkout of the module 'visualweb' but at different location :

I have filed an internal issue to our engineers to identify the cause & to provide a fix asap. I would also work with
the team & update you on the proceedings.

Hi Jack,

Our engineers found a stale RCS file on the repository under the following location in 'visualweb' module :

 '/cvs/visualweb/webui/themes/src/org/netbeans/modules/visualweb/webui/.cvsignore,v'

It was a was junk intermediary file with no useful data & the team has now purged off the file from the repository.
The CVS checkout of this module was successful with no errors after file deletion & i have verified it using SVN
Commandline client. 

Please do verify the same & let me know for queries.

Checkout of sources was successful in the last round of the production build, it means the problem is solved.

Hi Jack,

I see that the issue is fixed now after purging off stale files on the repository. I would go ahead & close the case for
now & please feel free to re-open the case for issue persistence.

Source checkout in the NetBeans build is now working fine, so feel free to close the issue.
