Description viggonavarsete 2007-08-21 06:16:56 UTC
In Eclipse the user can click on a "Link with editor" button, and the Package explorer will automatically expand the
tree structure so that the open file is shown. A similar feature is also needed in Netbeans.

There already is a request like this on projects, I believe. Not related to the editor module as such, AFAIK.

This feature already exists.
The shortcut CTL-SHIFT-1 will take you to the file, that's current in editor, in the projects tab.
CTL-SHIFT-2 will take you to the file in the files tab.

These actions also exist visibly under the Navigate menu.

I wasn't aware of these shortcuts. It truly helps with these shortcuts.

Oft-requested improvement.
