I have a particular Rails controller that is not properly syntax colored when printing.  I have not pruned it to try to figure out what the offending bit might be.  
If this is not a known issue and trying to prune it down would be helpful, I'll be willing to do so.

Do you still have this controller file? Does it still have printing problems? If so, yes, it would help to find out what
the offending bit might be - there are no other reports on this.

I tried this again and it appears that it's related to #116612.  When I moved my userdir out of the way and tried again, syntax highlighting when printing 
worked.  The odd thing, though, is that when I reported this bug, screen highlighting was still working.
