Version: 3.x

Description _ rgreig 2001-04-04 10:16:08 UTC
Build: 3.2 20
Platform: Windows NT 4 SP 6
JDK: Sun 1.3.0_02

If I select Debug->Attach and then choose the JPDA debugger in the combo, there
is no way to select dt_shmem as the transport. Only dt_socket appears (greyed
out).

Workaround: add JDK_DIR\bin to PATH.
Comment 2 Jan Jancura 2001-04-04 10:48:29 UTC
It is not s bug of Debugger - it is problem of user environment.
Comment 3 _ rgreig 2001-04-04 11:26:34 UTC
Oops - sorry for wasting your time. I installed something on my machine
yesterday that turns out to have messed up my PATH.
Comment 4 _ gtzabari 2001-09-14 20:29:44 UTC
Can we *please* add a boldface warning into the documentation so when
someone presses F1 in the Debug | Attach dialog he'll notice it right
away. I tried hitting help and found nothing useful..
Comment 5 Marian Petras 2001-09-17 09:39:48 UTC
I created a new RFE (#15546) for module Usersguide.
Comment 6 Karel Serin 2001-09-24 13:26:27 UTC
Not a bug.
As mentioned before RFE created.
