Description Josef Kozak 2001-04-02 11:02:39 UTC
When I get many results in "Search Results" and I would like to open many
files containing searched string, after first doubleclick (opening the first
file) this dialog is hidden behind the source editor. It would be useful, if
it were more available especially in MDI mode.

I have 2 ideas of possible solutions:
1. The dialog will be still on the top when user is opening files from it
until he closes this dialog
2. The dialog will be minimized to the bottom in the MDI mode (minimalized
in the bottom is more accessible then behind the editor)

The Search Results window will be at the bottom (in the MDI mode) as
suggested in issue #23710. See
http://ui.netbeans.org/docs/ui/ws/ws_spec-search_results.html for the
specification of the Search Results window.

The corresponding task is tracked as issue #37195.

Task #37195 is completed (integrated in the trunk) - I am marking this
issue as fixed.
