We are not in control over how help search works. Could be filed as a bug on javahelp.dev.java.net I suppose. Reassigning for evaluation. Are we able to influence how searching in Help is done? theoretically we could plug a different search engine in to JavaHelp, e.g. Lucene. I have heard this is possible and don't think it would be too much work, but I do not know the details Still an evaluation of how search works in Javahelp is needed. Reassigning to engineering, as this question is not related to documentation per se. |
