I move around a lot in operating sistems in networks where i don't have root
acess, and that auto reinstall the OS ocasionally.

I'd like to have a install of netbeans in a pen, that i could just copy over to
a directory, or run directly that would keep my settings.
I don't know how feasible this is, but it would be a good thing to have a
contained dir, i could move around where netbeans was installed, and that could
also be run in a OS independent manner.

Anyway another thing that normally causes problems with this moving around, is
the dependencies in projects. I already keep my projects in a pen, but when ever
i open it in another OS the dependencies get lost.

PS: java really should have a icon system for jars...HINT

It is more the core enchancement than the installer one.
The netbeans userdir support does not lie on the installer`s shoulders as well
as the projects` relative paths.
