The issue is reproducible in any combination when you have App Server but do NOT have Web and Java EE pack Rising priority to P1 A possible fix would be to require Web pack to be installed when App Server is installed. Not P1. User can install required modules from the full bundle. Moreover if user wants only basic IDE he/she will download only basic bundle. Candidate for RNs but not P1. Trung, if the user installs only Base IDE + Java IDE + SJSAS, the proper netbeans.conf entry will be created, but the IDE will not contain any modules which would be able to handle it. The servers registry will not be present as well. The reporter insists on the fact that this is confusing. What should we do? We cannot declare a dependency on the Web Pack from SJSAS as we must think about reusing exactly the same component in SJSAS installer. -> TBD I agree it's weird that the app server is installed but the integration module is not but I would say this is a low priority issue, RFE for the next release. The installer can potentially force GF and Tomcat to depend on "Web and Java EE" but even it doesn't give the user what he wants because later on the user can uninstall/deactivate "Web and Java EE" in the plugin manager and GF/TC will disappear in the Services tab. This is P3 RFE. We'll revisit it in the next release no issue should be assigned to issues. redistributing the load |
