Description Alexander Kouznetsov 2007-03-14 17:46:55 UTC
Profiler 070313

When filtering is enabled in Analyze Performance Profiling, Self Time value
(shown in Call Tree, for example) is the sum of profiling method execution time
and execution time of all filtered-out methods that are invoked from that
method. It is natural that Self Time represents method execution time only
excluding execution of all invoked methods. Thus "Self Time" name could be
confusing for some users. Consider change of wording or creation of
"Non-instrumented methods Time" value.
