To reproduce: 1) In new project, add text field and button 2) Select both, right-click and configure vf 3) Set participates and submit to yes 4) Save all According to the configure vf dialog, a vf was created but no Virtual Form node appears in the Outline No exceptions ( I also tried refreshing the page ) Evaluation: Per Craig: "Per the virtual forms spec, displaying the information you are talking about is an *option* that you can toggle on and off in designer. Use the button in the top bar, between Refresh and the dropdown that controls the size." JB can you please retest with this in mind? I think it works... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No, the button Craig is referring to is for the Designer. I'm referring to the Outline . Regardless of toggling, there's no Virtual Form node in the Outline ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ok yes I see that- sorry! Marking as WAV since the feature basically works, and we'll discuss in QC... I think this is definitely a usability issue but not critical for EA. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The original VF spec did indeed contemplate adding an Outline section for the virtual forms, and was not updated to reflect the implemented functionality. I recommend we WAV this for EA, and reassign to Jeff to decide what UI functionality we want for FCS. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
