I'm not 100% sure this is a bug, but it doesn't make much sense.

When I try to add a New Library in the Library Manager, it won't let me use
spaces in the Library Name, yet the libraries included with Netbeans all have
spaces in their names.

What's up with that?

You are right, reassigne to Projects

A spaceless name is used for all libs internally. Bundled libs have localized
display names which can contain any chars.
