Description Jan Palka 1999-10-06 23:06:42 UTC
When holding down the Ctrl key and using the up or down arrows, the source text shoud scroll while keeping the caret at the same location, ala nearly every other source code editor.
Comment 1 Marek Grummich 2000-07-25 09:10:59 UTC
Priority is changed to P4 (normal).
Comment 2 Quality Engineering 2003-06-30 18:11:29 UTC
Resolved for 3.3.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
Comment 3 dumchikov 2008-12-09 14:20:16 UTC
The truth is that some editors keep the cursor in the same position until it's possible. when the cursor position
disappears from the screen the cursor remains on very top or very bottom position.
check intellij idea, or borland editors

pls make this as an option

There is a newer issue requesting this. Closing in favor for that one (I hope it is not a problem as it is opened by
"dumchikov")...
