Description santhosh 2003-11-19 11:35:20 UTC
the background color of selected text in editor
is gray. It is supposed to be blue. The gray
color makes the normal user feel that editor is
readonly.

This is more ENHANCEMENT than DEFECT. You can adjust colors in editor
in Tools | Options | Editing | Editor Settings | Java Editor.
Comment 2 psuk 2004-03-19 19:01:31 UTC
It's customizable. Feel free to change the color as you prefer.

I think it opens another question:
- should we follow color schema that's given on specific platform?

Blue is default color for selection on winXP, but you can change it.

If you change it to red (for example), some IDE components (like
explorer) reacts correctly.
Notepad or mozilla uses red for selection also.
IDE Editor keeps user settings.
Leaving it open for now.

Obsolete target milestone, changed to TBD. Please re-evaluate.
Comment 4 Miloslav Metelka 2015-10-15 13:38:20 UTC
Background is customizable.
