Would it be possible to implement a new feature allowing a Synergy tester to remove a bug which was used to fail a test case and this way pass the affected test? It's doable when test specification is paused but not if it's completed. Thanks for your estimation of work.
Any update on this Lado?
As I wrote offline, I'll try to have a look at it over Christmas (there is a lot of work on other project we are about to release in January so time is limited right now :)
Jirko, I'm not sure if I can do that. The issue is that Synergy does not keep association between failed test case and bug in completed assignments. The assignment once finished only contain number of failed cases and list of reported issues. I don't know which issue caused which test cases to fail. I can implement the "remove issue from test assignment" action, but I think I cannot also safely increase number of passed test cases. I can let it to user though: - user will choose which issues to remove from assignment - user will choose if he wishes to also decrease fail test cases count (and thus increase passed cases count) but it will be up to the user to make sure the numbers are correct.
Fixed in repository, I'll update internal Synergy on Monday. How it behaves: - if test assignment is finished and there are some issues, there is a new button with pencil icon to alter reported issues - user can then remove reported issue(s) and optionally change number of passed/failed cases (1 for each issue)
Thank you Lado! Once you redeploy new version to our internal instance, let me please know so that I can verify the fix.
Works like a charm. Thanks for the fix Láďo!
