In the searchpanel there are two textfields for search and replace texts. Since the introduction of multicaret support in 8.2 both have input carets. So you don't know, which field has the input focus. 

It is a regression to 8.1 with no workaround. So P2

I can no longer reproduce the problem in the current dev builds so it should be fixed by previous fixes.

I still have multiple cursors when opening replace with:
