Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201510010328) Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_66-ea Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.66-b02 Reproducibility: Haven't tried to reproduce it Today, I installed Kaspersky Total security on my machine. And it thinks NetBeans is showing malware-like behaviors. This particularly happened when I was making "Issue report" from within the IDE. STEPS: * Install Kaspersky Total Security (trial is enough) * Launch IDE, and open issue reporter (Help>Report Issue) * select option to attach IDE logs ACTUAL: * Kaspersky complains and reports NetBeans is showing behavior of a malware, ( depending on configuration, it can automatically terminate it)

tried nb 20151002 on widows 7 with kaspersky total security installed and with different security settings, but worked for me - did you change any settings in kaspersky, or do you have the default? if yes, then what? - have you been able to finish your action? - please reproduce the problem, create a thread dump when the kaspersky warning appears and attach it to this issue
any update on this?
(In reply to Tomas Stupka from comment #3) > any update on this? Hi Tomas, I haven't made any special configuration changes in the Kaspersky setup. I encountered this issue specifically when attempting submit an issue that includes attachments(e.g. IDE log), from within the issue reporter window. As far as finishing the action, the issue submission completes but uploading of the attachment fails as Kaspersky will terminate NetBeans. I will try to reproduce the issue in a different machine and submit thread dump.
thanks, but if K kills NB there isn't much we can do about it. please look into your kaspersky setup if there is a way how to allow such actions. If K blocks uploading by others apps i really do not know how we should get around it from NB.
