We use diff view in the CND component to show the result of refactorings application, since approximately the beginning of last week the view displays a grey area instead the result of changes.

I reproduced the issue with java project, so you don't need the CND component. You can reproduce a bug by performing, say, rename refactoring and choosing "Preview" in rename dialog.

Is it just a repaint problem? Does it fix itself if you click in the right-panel or try to scroll?

Yes, looks like it is a repaint problem, because diff view comes back to normal after  window's resize.
