WildFly 9.0.0. final has now been released, but the Netbeans 8.0.2 WildfLy plugin is incompatible with this version of WildFly.

It is possible to register the WildFly 9 server in Netbeans and the server can be started from Netbeans. Thereafter Netbeans cannot detect that the server has been started and none of the other plugin features are working.

This is fixed in the current dev build of netbeans.

I can confirm that the latest Netbeans Nightly Development Build worked as expected.
