Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 (Build 201411181905)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_20
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.20-b23

Due to some unknown reason to me the IDE Tools Properties Window kept showing up when moving from design to source mode. Only a hard reset of all window properties could turn back to the standard mod of not showing this window. Is it not possible to have some king of checkbox to turn this off.
