Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0 (Build 201403101706)
Operating System = Windows 8 version 6.2 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_13
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.7-b01

Inspect mode not relaying information to IDE, hence selected elements properties not seen in ide when selected in browser

Based on the log, seems like issue 245137. The fix will be part of upcoming NetBeans 8.0.1, which should be available soon. If you don't want to wait, you can try a Dev (nightly) build from [1] - please note it is daily build and it might not be that stable.
