Please try following: - create a new HTML5 project - in project properties, select Karma as testing provider and close dialog with OK - go again to project properties and select "JavaScript testing" category (the parent node of Karma) and close dialog with OK [step3] => settings is lost, Karma is no longer selected as testing provider, Karma node is no longer visible in Projects. If you reopen project properties after step3, testing provider is set to "none".
