The project export tool doesn't append .zip file extension to the zip files it exports.
This particularly happens if the user doesn't provide that along with the name used when exporting.
I believe, the extension should be added when necessary.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
