1. Created a new php file. 
2. pasted a really long html line on it. The scroll bar automaticaly updated to support the really long line, as it should
3. I deleted the long line
The scroll bar remained the same. It even allowed me to scroll to the far right, even if the file now doesn't have any content on this side.

I did it twice to check if it's a bug - however didn't restart IDE between two times.

Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201401270001)
Operating System = Windows 8 version 6.2 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0-ea
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.0-b63

[p.s. I don't run on amd64, I run on Intel quad core 64, so I think the detection above is wrong]

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
