Description Vladimir Riha 2014-01-13 21:04:14 UTC
It could be handy if it was possible to "freeze" test run. Meaning new assignments would be disabled, all testing would be stopped (no one could start/continue) testing and all unsaved progress would be dropped (only raw numbers would be kept, e.g. completed X%, number of failed etc. - basically statistics would be intact but it would not be possible to continue testing).

The reason is right now if someone paused testing, it is not possible to edit the same specification and it could happen, that some leaves paused assignment and forget about it.

Jirko, what do you think? Of course only managers would have permission to do it.

Yes, that makes sense to me. I actually thought that setting end date & time were supposed to freeze test run but it obviously didn't do that. Manual freezing done by managers sounds better to me.

fixed in 531 & 532 - added action Toggle Freeze.

Unfortunately not, I could have done it as well but I need a way to drop saved "binary" progress data and this wouldn't work here.
