Created attachment 143535 [details] Shows the menu for Scene.fxml On a Maven JavaFX project, right-clicking on "Scene.fxml" displays a popup menu that includes the element "Open Advanced...", which, when clicked, does nothing. See also related Bug 239887. Environment: Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201312300942) Java: 1.8.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.0-b62 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0-ea-b120 System: Windows 8 version 6.2 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
reassigning to javafx for evaluation with regard what needs to be done here to support it. Please note that there's currently no javafx-maven bridge module, if any javafx related api needs to be provided in project lookup, then javafx maintainer should probably create such bridge (as javaee team does)
fixed in jet-main: http://hg.netbeans.org/jet-main/rev/b35ccfc18a4d Cause of this issue is the same as in bug #239887. Now JavaFX modules are activated when Maven JavaFX project is opened (this applies also to the case when it's opened just after creation).
