From your IDE log it is clear that applemenu module is not loaded (this module manage command actions on mac). Is it possible that you have disabled it? Please check Tools/Plugins/Installed and try to find and activate this module.

If it is not there try to re-install netbeans 7.4

Please reopen if none of this helps.
