Description -Silver- 2013-08-08 12:43:03 UTC
Hi, I would like to propose an enhancement to the remote terminal behavior.
Currently it's possible to insert only 3 parameters to establish a connection: user, host and SSH Port (plus a fourth parameter, password, in a second step).
In this manner each stored connection is represented in form of User@Host (example root@123.123.123.123)
I would like to have another parameter during the setting of a connection to add a descriptive label that identify each connection. In this manner the list of known connections that currently is like: root@127.0.0.1, admin@123.255.212.234 becames like: home PC, work server, company server, etc. This is very useful when there are many connection store and is difficult to remember to what machine the ip address is associated.
Tnx :)

Hi!

It's possible to change a title of a terminal by pressing RMB on the terminal -> Set Title. This feature is implemented in Netbeans 8.0
