the fix is valid, from the messages log it can be seen, that you are still using the before-the-fix versions of relevant modules. org.netbeans.libs.findbugs [1.0 nbms-and-javadoc-241-on-20130812] org.netbeans.modules.findbugs [1.27 nbms-and-javadoc-241-on-20130812] please uninstall these modules and install them anew from newer source and everything should be alright.

Reopen. This issue wasn't fixed in 7.4. It still appears on 8.0dev
