Created attachment 136292 [details] Screenshot Netbeans 7.3.1 - branch names are present In the NB7.4 development build 201306242301, branch names do not show with nodes names in the Projects window. The problem occurred for both Subversion- and Git-versioned mavenized applications. At the attached screenshots compare the same project opened in the stable NB 7.3.1 and development NB 7.4. The branch annotation "[master]" for each project node which appears in the stable version is missing in the development version. The branch annotation is extremely handy especially for Git projects where switching between many branches is an important part of the development process. If the branch annotation was removed intentionally, I would strongly vote against.

Most likely the annotations are disabled, check that View -> Show Versioning Labels is on.
Why it is disabled by default? Was it the case in the previous versions?
(In reply to comment #3) > Why it is disabled by default? Was it the case in the previous versions? Yes, for all previous versions it is by default disabled.
Thank you for quick response.
