"Default heap size" makes no sense (no such option supported by the JVM). There's a minimum heap size and maximum one.
Reassigning to the specification owner.
again, this is coming direct from your suggestion that users wanted to set the defualt heap size. i'm guessing that means the starting minimum but clarify if that's not the case. do we need both?
I think that "maximum heap size" would be better, since that is what limits user app's operations. There are several such parameters in HotSpot so I think it's better to be precise which one is it ;-) Minimum heap size is set only occasionally (to ensure there's enough memory ? bcs of less garbage collection and faster startup/process ?) and I think we can leave it to Advanced mode.
fixed. i'll be updating the screenshots shortly.
Sorry, I don't understand what was wrong and what was fixed. Svata, please check it and verify it. Thanks.
Verified. The feature is going to be removed from Tools | Options so it does not appear in T|O UI spec.
Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
