Created attachment 133114 [details] Screenshot When installing the Java ME plugins _without_ Java ME SDK installed, whenever I try to add a platform, the "Add Java Platform: Choose Platform Folder" dialog has a big red slowness warning at the top and a button that says "Do Not Show Again." There is no slowness that is humanly detectable, because the dialog pops right up and I can browse in it immediately, so I think this is an invalid warning. This warning never shows otherwise without the plugins or with the Java ME SDK 3.2 installed. See attached screenshot. Plugins installed: Mobility 1.19.1 Java ME SDK Tools 3.0 LWUIT Resource Editor 2.0 Java ME SDK Demos 2.0 Visual Mobile Designer 1.16 Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.3 (Build 201302132200) Java: 1.7.0_17; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.7-b01 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_17-b02 System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
Additional ME plugins or the presence of ME SDK most likely don't have any effect here. However, basic Mobility plugin adds platform type selection to the "Add Java Platform" wizard, so Mobility must be activated to be able to reproduce. The slowness measurement seems to be confused when: 1) in "Add Java Platform" wizard, select "Java ME CLDC Platform Emulator" 2) push "Next >" and do nothing, just wait several seconds 4) push "Cancel" in the "Choose directory..." dialog 5) push "< Back" in the "Add Java Platform" wizard 6) now back in the first step, select "Java Standard Edition" type and push "Next >" The message should be should be shown now and the 'elapsed' counter has high value, though there is no actual slowness.
