Could whoever does these things these days add a bug category for nodejs? While we're at it, we could delete the "workspaceswitcher" module since that module has been dead since 3.6...
I can do that. Just let me know description for this new component, default assignee and QA contact (issues@contrib.netbeans.org). Together with deletion of "workspaceswitcher" 26 bugs will be deleted too. Correct?
Description: Support for Javascript projects and running files using node.js All the bugs in the Workspaceswitcher category are closed (and ancient) except 220390 which I put there because there was no node.js category. So 220390 should be moved to node.js; the rest are probably nothing anybody cares about.
OK, I have created the new Node.js component however I cannot delete the Workspace Switcher component, because of: "Sorry, there are 25 bugs outstanding for this component. You must reassign those bugs to another component before you can delete this one." Tim, can you please reassign these remaining issues so that I can proceed with the deletion? Thanks!
Ugh, we need an "Other" category for contrib - there is nothing that makes sense to reassign them to. BTW, ImportCruncher is another dead category - circa 3.5 module of mine.
OK, Other is created. However, is it really necessary to delete obsolete components? I think it's normal that ideas for new modules (components) come and then go. When you move the issues, let me know which components should be deleted. Thanks.
Module is moved to github
