Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.3 Beta (Build 201210011125)
Operating System = Linux version 3.2.0-32-generic running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_24
Runtime = OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 20.0-b12

now we have the Project Group Function. but we can't make it closed. if we want one group not shown in current session.what we can do is to delete it.

It better to make it like open project, to open an project group.

closing a project group would be equivalent to current behaviour of selecting "none" group.So you either have one group selected (please note that you can always just select only exactly one at a time) or you deselect the current group by selecting none..
