It would be nice to include the latest version of Tomcat 7.0.30 in the upcoming NetBeans release. This Tomcat release contains again many (non-trivial) bugfixes. In my daily work using this version extensively for quite some time, I did not encounter any issues.
Comment 1 Ondrej Vrabec 2012-09-13 13:45:37 UTC
managers, any comments? Should we upgrade before Beta?
Comment 2 Petr Jiricka 2012-09-13 14:42:39 UTC
Cc'ing Jirka Kovalsky and Petr Hejl.

Jirka, it would be useful if we can ask NetCat to start using Tomcat 7.0.30 (by adding it manually) and tell us if things work for them. If they don't find any serious problems, I would do the update.
Comment 3 host 2012-09-13 15:08:49 UTC
Well, you got already one NetCAT guy - namely me ;-) - who has been testing it successfully for quite some time.
Comment 4 Jiri Kovalsky 2012-09-14 07:42:16 UTC
Thanks for your early feedback Holger! :)

Now that Tomcat 7.0.32 is out and 7.0.30 has not yet been included in the daily builds, should I either...

1) Simply update this issue (title) from 7.0.30 to 7.0.32?
2) Mark this issue "RESOLVED/WONTFIX" and create a new one for 7.0.32?

(Of course, either way, I have already installed that new version and I am testing it with the latest NB daily)
