Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201206110001) Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.7.4 running on x86_64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_06-ea Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.2-b03
For example if i download a plugin and want to select the folder where i saved it, i simply can't open the combobox that shows the folder tree. Another example is the Language combo box in the preferences->Fonts&Colors menu, here i can't select another language than All Languages. Interestingly the comboboxes in the IssueTracker that opens within NetBeans work...?
Looks like the key info : Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_06-ea It is not reproducible with 7u4/7u5 I guess ?
The following procedure seems to fix the problem: - Installing NetBeans latest dev. build. - Open the Java Platforms menu - Java 1.7.0_06 is selected as default Java Platform WITHOUT the JavaFX tab visible - Add a new Java Platform and select again 1.7.0_06 (now the JavaFX tab is visible) - Add the JavaFX 2.2 b11 folder and activate JavaFX Now the comboboxes work as expected. Additional comment: It would be great if the JavaFX tab would be visible directly and not only after re-added the same Java Framework again.
Cannot reproduce in: Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 20120612-38987a2c31a4) Java: 1.7.0_06-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.2-b04 System: Mac OS X version 10.7.4 running on x86_64; UTF-8; en_US (nb) (The JDK is build 13)
