[ BUILD # : 201203280401 ] [ JDK VERSION : 1.7.3 ] I select a word at in editor and press Ctrl-F3. But nothing happens. Following was reproduceable: -) I pressed Ctrl-F and searched for "foo" -) When I select a word in the same java-file and press Ctrl-F3 -> It works -) Then I switched to an other open java-file, selected a word and pressed Ctrl-F3 -> Doesn´t works When I close the search-Panel (bottom of Java-File) it works again.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 20120516-b62bf400b4a4) Java: 1.6.0_29; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 20.4-b02 I check your scenario a few times and I cannot reproduce it. Maybe it was fixed in a big changes during april. If it is still a problem in may dev builds, please reopen this issue.
