"Test RESTful Web Services" web page do not show the left navigation bar in
Firefox 7 on Win XP but shows up fine in IE 8.

The bug 159653 looks like for Chrome 
This issue is reported for Firefox 7

The left navigation bar does not work even after allowing the script and checking the "Always Allow" checkbox.

Please look into this issue. I don't have a client project to test the service.

It is useful to do :
1) Read the issue which is set as original before reopening duplicate issue.
2) Try the functionality which is mentioned there.

The problem is common for most browsers. It is described in the details there.
Just read it. 

In case you have problems with remotely working test client please report about 
it explicitly.
