It would be great to have the latest feature and bug fix release of Tomcat in NetBeans.

IMO this will be the goal for 7.1 (not for Beta which is too close). CCed Petr to comment.

host@netbeans.org - you can register a separate installation of Tomcat in NB. Can you test 7.0.21 with latest NB dailies and let us know if you encounter any problems? Thanks.

I have been using the 7.1 dailies together with Tomcat 7.0.21 for two weeks now without any problem.

I spoke to Marian - he agrees with upgrading Tomcat before NB 7.1 Beta.

Yulia integrated this change yesterday. Today's daily build bundles 7.0.21.
